Tips for Choosing Services From Online Marketing Companies
During the recession, you’re probably being more picky and choosy about where you spend your dollars with online marketing companies. The best place to start is with web design. If your website isn’t already attracting loads of visitors and retaining them, then you have a problem that needs to be addressed. According to an October survey conducted by The Creative Group, 52% of business executives surveyed said they plan to “increase staffing in web design or production.” Nearly half of business executives also plan to pay online marketing companies more for creative/art direction and interactive/account services.
Another 23% of business executives say they’ll purchase more copywriting from their online marketing companies this year, despite the recession. This is the Phase II roll-out for businesses that are happy with their websites and website conversions, but wish to keep the momentum going. More visitors can be lured to the site from press releases, blogs, social media pages, article promotion, affiliate marketing pieces and email newsletters.
Now is the ideal time to consider online marketing companies.
“Businesses often opt to bring in people on a project basis to avoid layoffs if the economy loses momentum,” explains Megan Slabinski, executive director of The Creative Group. “Supplementing the core team with freelance professionals allows companies to more easily adjust staffing levels as conditions change.”
