Why Choose an Internet Marketing Company To Boost Your Nonprofit |
Did you know that an Internet marketing company can benefit nonprofit organizations too? Now organizations like the American Red Cross and the Arthritis Foundation are using the concept of an Internet marketing company to help boost manpower and grass roots campaigns.
Your Internet marketing company can implement (and test the effectiveness of) various personalized campaigns on your behalf. Additionally, you may want your Internet marketing company to help you manage the flood of data, Internet requests and traffic coming through your site.
“Whether an organization is managing an interactive website, or a specific email campaign, we reports on critical data in ways that ensure organizations can most effectively reach more supporters, raise more money, and easily track progress of online initiatives,” said Internet marketing company representative Steve MacLaughlin.
The key to a nonprofit’s livelihood is not just attracting new recruits, but retaining them and keeping morale high. One of the best ways to do this is through e-newsletters. You can keep your group informed on the issues and keep those donations pouring in by sending that informative reminder on a regular basis. Blogging is another technique your Internet marketing company may suggest. You can blog about personal stories you come across in your work and readers will appreciate the informal tone, the information and the personal interaction.

When A Good Internet Marketing Company Goes Bad |
|
What we do know is that an Internet marketing company is a vital resource for any business, big or small. What many people don’t know is that a good Internet marketing company can go bad, engaging in reprehensible behavior that actually undermines your competition to get you the promised results!
“I understand the rules of search,” Internet marketing company saboteur Brendan Scott tells Forbes Magazine. “And once you understand the rules, you can use them constructively or you can use them destructively.”
By using a computer software program, a Black Hat Internet marketing company can send thousands of arbitrary links to their clients’ competitors. This practice, sometimes referred to as “Google Bowling,” sends up a red flag to search engines like Google and Yahoo, which punish sites that have artificially high ratings. “If a new site gains half a million links over the course of a weekend, it looks suspect from Google’s point of view,” Scott explains. “So you make someone look naughty, and then get them caught.” Similarly, sabotaging pay-per-click advertisements with software that simulates consumer clicks can cause an ad to drop and traffic to plummet.
In less malicious cases, an Internet marketing company may perform what is called “Google Insulation,” which takes negative comments floating around the web and buries them, pushing positive comments to higher page rank. Sometimes your Internet marketing company will troll your competitors’ sites looking for instances of cheating – things like hiding keyword-laden links to bolster page ranks. Search engine spiders hate this, when they come across it. The trouble-making optimizer may choose this tactic. They may also cry “Copyright Infringement,” which results in a 10-Day Takedown while the site is investigated.
If there’s one thing search engines dislike, it’s duplicate content. Older, more established sites can also occasionally get away with stealing content because they usually win over a newer site, which gets punished by the search engine.
A word of cautionary advice: Before you choose an Internet marketing company, engage in a brief discussion regarding ethics. Be sure that you and your Web Guru are on the same page and that he has other strategies on tap. After all, you don’t want to compromise your impeccable reputation for fast, drastic results. There’s plenty of room on the Internet for everyone and any reputable Internet marketing company should know that.

What an Internet Marketing Company Can Do |
|
You may have heard that choosing the right professional Internet marketing company will determine a business’s success. Of course, products and customer service is ultimately what keeps customers coming back — but what good is having “the best” if you can’t get the word out fast enough to drive profits? Prior to the 1990s, you could logistically run an entire campaign on the ground, using expensive TV/Radio/Newspaper/Magazine ads and drum up enough business to survive. Today’s consumer is technologically savvy and a whopping 50 million Americans say that the Internet is their primary source for news! Are you feeling the urgency of finding the right Internet marketing company? (Well, you should be!)
The best way to advertise is to position yourself in the right place, at the right time. Consumers appreciate information that is readily available when they need it, rather than having images and marketing campaigns stuffed down their throat via phone telemarketers, commercials interrupting their favorite shows or junk mail crowding their inboxes.
To achieve this careful balance, a professional Internet marketing company will begin with making the most efficient website you can have. If it doesn’t look appealing and straightforward at first glance, you’ve already lost all your potential leads. While web design doesn’t necessarily require a degree, it does require a lot of time, weekly or monthly updates and a keen eye for detail. You can have the best website imaginable, but if people aren’t seeing it, it’s useless.
To take you to the next level, your selected Internet marketing company will use their expertise to employ search engine optimization techniques that’ll get your page to the top of the search engines. Google found that most people find what they’re looking for in roughly eleven minutes of searching, so it’s crucial that your website is optimized to appear within the first few pages.
By researching web statistics in your market, embedding the most frequently searched words into your site and keeping up with the trends, an Internet marketing company can make your site a hit. Optimizers can put in literally hundreds of hours to get your site to the top of the search engines. The best thing about hiring a professional Internet marketing company is that through various programs, you’ll get real statistics to track your dollar.

Web Analytics Are An Internet Marketing Company's Best Friend |
|
You can't always see how many people are viewing your magazine ad and the data on your guerilla marketing campaign relies on the honesty of a few contractors who want to justify their salaries with often inflated results. In the past, marketers tried things like direct mail coupons to try to calculate how many buyers they were reaching or how effective their campaigns were. However, thanks to web analytics, your Internet marketing company can tell you exactly how many people are visiting your site, how they're finding your site, where your target market is geographically located, what other products your buyers are interested in and more.
With web analytics, a whole new level of accountability is achieved. Your Internet marketing company can show you a comparison of various campaigns to see which strategies are performing best and which strategies can be dumped, so you get a better bang for your buck. The best way to get started is usually to diversify through search engine optimization, blogs, article marketing, pay-per-click advertising and a variety of methods. After a few months, see where your traffic's filtering in from and adjust your plan. It's that easy!
One thing your Internet marketing company may recommend is that you create a unique URL to use in your traditional advertising campaigns to see how many visitors enter that page. This can help you calculate how many consumers acted based on your campaign and will also show whether they purchased the product or service. Through advanced tracking, Internet marketing company pros can see how many visitors came back repeatedly as well.
Instead of throwing your money away, find out how your Internet marketing company can use web analytics to help you design winning campaigns – both online and offline.

The Future of Internet Marketing |
|
I grew up with "The Jetsons" where we thought cars would be flying and robots would be in every house by now. As it turns out, 2008 isn't quite that futuristic, although it's still fairly mind-blowing to think that computers weren't a household item just 20 years ago. Hell, many teenagers can't imagine life without their social networking page! While computers have undoubtedly made our lives easier and more enriched, it's made the marketing world scramble nonstop to keep up with emerging technology and trends. Any Internet marketing company will tell you that things are evolving fast (and sometimes unpredictably) – but there are some predictions we can make about the near future anyway.
First, we can anticipate search engines to change with the times. Their capacity to scan sites (including FLASH, animations, videos, etc) will improve. We may be able to view a snapshot of the site we wish to open just by moving a mouse over the search engine listing. Or it's entirely possible that Google and Yahoo will pull up custom comparison reports compiled from various sources, based on the query we type into the engine. The smart Internet marketing company will stay on top of these new advances and find better ways to encode, better keywords and will make the necessary contacts to ensure their clients make it into these quintessential comparison sheets.
Secondly, Internet marketing company professionals suspect that "TrustRank" will soon surpass "PageRank." Right now pagerank is calculated using a complex algorithm that looks at inbound links, content keywords and web design factors. However, Google and Yahoo are working on developing bots that look for sites with high visitors, low bounce rate, a long history and other factors.
Lastly, web-based consumer analytics will be extremely important to the Internet marketing company core strategy. High value consumers will be sought and marketers will be able to tell you what they bought, what they might buy now and what they will buy in the future. Personalized reminders and "shopping assistants" will pop up to offer individuals shopping suggestions for their friends and family members.

Targeting Baby Boomers with Internet Marketing |
|
A recent survey of 1,800 consumers (age 40+) brought some surprising revelations for even the most experienced Internet marketing company, say representatives from JWTBoom and ThirdAge -- the two West Coast marketing agencies that conducted the survey.
According to the latest Internet marketing company research, baby boomers prefer things like word-of-mouth sharing, experts, trustable brands, product research, email, secure browsing/shopping and health information. Most surprisingly, they are not interested in social networking sites, blogs, podcasts, downloading music or group gaming, as the younger demographics are.
"Boomers in general are interested in connecting and interacting with others in their community around shared interests and common issues," said ThirdAge CEO Sharon Whiteley. "They relate to people sharing a similar life phase – and they trust those who have walked in their shoes." She added that 53% of those surveyed had not visited social networking sites and 47% stated they were concerned about having personal information on the web.
However, email marketing is an effective Internet marketing company tactic for baby boomers – so long as it's coming from a trusted brand. A whopping 75% of respondents have clicked through to the site being promoted to them via email and more than 55% have purchased a product or service that way! Additionally, 93% of the respondents have visited a site after reading a print article.
Of course the key there is "trusted brand." Of those asked, 83% said they needed content containing expert opinions, 66% said they needed content sponsored by a company they know and trust and 62% said that a site will win them over as time elapses. Establishing a professional network has never been more vital.
So why would an Internet marketing company care so much about baby boomers? They account for 78 million people and control over 83% of consumer spending. Forty precent of the US population is over 45, with a projected 50% market growth over the next 15 years. The most recent estimate is that boomer spending (currently $800 billion) will reach over $4.6 trillion by 2015.

Save Time & Sanity: Hire an Internet Marketing Company! |
|
“Most entrepreneurs fail because you are working IN your business, rather than ON your business,” writes Michael Gerber, author of E-Myth.
Sound familiar? Many of us are juggling way too many things — be it personal finance, personal relationships, family responsibilities, travel arrangements, birthdays, holidays, dinner plans and dozens of work tasks at any one given time. Since the overall business trend has been to downsize, it’s likely you’re working more than one person’s job… but somehow, you still pull it off.
One thing you definitely don’t have time to do is spend hundreds of hours pouring over your company website and internet marketing campaign. Yet, ironically, one thing you can’t afford not to do is spend hundreds of hours on your internet marketing campaign. The obvious solution is to hire a professional Internet marketing company. It’s tempting to try to do it yourself, but in this business you definitely get what you pay for! The good news is that an Internet marketing company costs very little to get started and is an area of your business where statistics and proof of progress is demonstrated in neat little charts and reports. (Not to mention, how much is your time worth? Your son’s baseball game… or staring at Google Analytics for two hours on a Friday afternoon — No contest!)
Consider adding a professional Internet marketing company on at ten hours per week to start. Think of that as ten more hours you get to spend with your family and ten more hours you can use to hit the gym, go out to dinner, catch a movie or call a friend. In that time, with someone working relentlessly on one of the most important aspects of your business: How many leads can they bring? How much updated content can be produced for your site? How much more professional does your website look? How much closer to the top are you in the search engines?
If you frequently leave work feeling overwhelmed, it’s high time to outsource some of your priorities to an Internet marketing company. Many ground-level marketing campaigns leave no paper trail and are difficult to determine efficiency. However, a professional Internet marketing company will be happy to show you the electronic trail indicating what’s working the best for your internet marketing strategy and will offer suggestions or implement the latest innovations to get your business the exposure you need.

Prepare for Holidays with Sacramento Internet Marketing |
|
Sacramento Internet marketing will be more important this year than ever. The newly released National Retail Federation survey projects holiday spending will be only 2% higher this year at $832, with a little less ($632 of that) being spent on family members.

Meanwhile, a study done by Burst Media found that more than two-thirds of online customers will research or window-shop online this holiday season, with 55.2% of respondents planning to make at least one gift purchase online. One-third of the people who did not purchase online last year plan to this year and on average, respondents plan to do about 48.2% of their total holiday spending on the Internet. Needless to say, a good portion of the budget should go toward Sacramento Internet marketing
Sacramento shop owners are feeling a bit downtrodden going into the holiday season. "We can't even say 'Compared to last year,'" says Manon LaSalle from Lil' Treasured Gifts, a brand new gift shop in Folsom. "We're hoping the holiday spirit will kick in. We're going to bring our Christmas items forward and get people into that Christmas spirit," she adds.
Jim Relles of Relles Florist in midtown Sacramento conceded, "These are probably the worst economic times in my existence of running a business. Then we had October come, when everything started to crumble. Everything came to a screeching halt." He adds that while his advertising budget has been trimmed, his Sacramento Internet marketing has been ramped up and he's tried to reach the public radio listeners this year as well.

Phoenix Internet Marketing in a Virtual World |
|
Phoenix Internet marketing has taken an interesting turn. Call it the byproduct of Second Life / video games, Google Earth maps and billboard ads. Since Phoenix was announced as one of 15 US cities to be virtualized in three-dimension on Microsoft's online mapping program (MSN Virtual Earth 3D), companies have been scrambling to get their online billboards designed. 20th Century Fox, Nissan Motor and Zip Realty were some of the first advertisers to take advantage of the new Phoenix Internet marketing technique.
"We absolutely, 100% believe this is a new form of online advertising. 3D billboards are really changing the platform business," explained Chris Sampson, director of marketing for Virtual Earth. He added that the Phoenix Internet marketing ads are placed similarly to actual highway billboards but they can be changed or pre-programmed immediately.
Many businesses have made their mark in virtual communities as well. For instance, IBM created its own island in Second Life, a virtual world community with more than 4 million users. There gamers can build virtual businesses, showrooms, see products and talk to employees. They plan to invest $100 million in research and development in this area of Phoenix Internet marketing.
There's some question as to whether or not the Microsoft platform will take off and if consumers will take the time to notice an online ad while searching for a route, a restaurant or an address. However, it's ultimately creativity and progressiveness that will enable a small business to excel in Phoenix Internet marketing.

Make Money From Social Networking Sites |
|
Nothing beats a one-stop online marketing shop. Imagine search engine optimization, link building, advertising, web design, copywriting, network building, statistical data organizing, site management and social networking all in one dynamic package! A particularly progressive Internet Marketing company may offer social networking and media consulting/management. This is a new field that’s popped up to help small business owners cash-in on free mediums like Facebook and Myspace.
But can you make money? Internet marketing company pros say you can if you diversify your efforts. For instance, try buying some pay-per-click advertising spots if you’ve got the budget. Smaller budgets may want to try a more subtle way of link baiting for extra exposure. Using this technique, you’ll create a blog and link out to other sites related to your field. To solidify your connection, send a friendly email letting them know you’ve linked to them and perhaps they’ll return the favor!
When it comes to social networking, simply adding friends isn’t going to help you translate the contact into sales. As with anything, your Internet marketing company will tell you that you need to create a relationship with your audience. You can accomplish this through several avenues. Commenting on profiles is oft used but is usually a transparent sales ploy. A more effective way is to subscribe / comment on people’s blogs, post in forums, join online sub-groups and post bulletins to let your online community know about new products or services. Offering exclusive deals or running contests can help you get that short-term boost, while delivering e-newsletters can help you retain business in the long run.
Your Internet marketing company can help you set short and long-term goals.

Local Search Leads Internet Marketing Into 2009 |
|
According to a 2008 ComScore study, there are six basic ways people will find a local business. First, 31% will visit a search engine, researching without a specific brand name in mind. They type in longer terms like "Inexpensive plumber Tampa Bay Florida" or "real estate agent King County Washington." We Internet marketing consultants sometimes refer to this as "long tail search," meaning that there are certain winning combinations of words and phrases that will haul in not only more traffic – but targeted traffic of those ready and willing to buy.
The second most common way people find a local business is through the good old Yellow Pages or White Pages of the phone book, accounting for 30% of all business traffic. Do you doubt for a minute that this is eating the online marketing community up inside? As you may guess, Internet marketing consultants are seeing an evolution of Internet-based phone book integration. There are several different websites competing for supremacy – www.whitepages.com, www.yellowbook.com, www.superpages.com, www.anywho.com, www.bigbook.com and www.switchboard.com, to name a few! The list doesn't end there. Say you're in the hotel industry, for example. You've got www.localhoteldirectory.com, www.local-hotel.com and www.res.findlocalhotels.com as a few lead contenders for your searching needs. Local search will be one of the big Internet marketing focuses for 2009, particularly in the travel and real estate sectors.
Additionally, 19% of a local business's leads come from Internet directories, 11% come from local search sites like Google Maps or Yahoo Local (while looking up driving directions). Just 3% of all traffic stems from a newspaper or magazine and 1% comes from social media sites (although the "buzz factor" and referral potential there is huge!) Needless to say, ensuring that your business is listed on all the most important, industry-relevant directories and optimizing your web copy and website to attract local buyers are things your Internet marketing consultants can do for you.

Internet Marketing with Myspace |
|
It's hard to believe that social networking sites were foreign to Internet marketing company professionals just a few years ago. Today it's a tool that can't be overlooked if your target market is 15 – 30 year olds. The marketing campaigns are more subtle, more artistic and more multi-media rich than usual. They require a good chunk of time but can yield extremely productive word-of-mouth campaigns that extend farther than you could ever imagine.
So what does it take to create a kick-butt Myspace or Facebook profile? You can try to do it yourself if you have a lot of time to spare (and by a lot I mean 20+ hours per week). Or you can hire an Internet marketing company to design and manage the profiles for you.
Before you begin, be sure to develop a clear strategy. What are your end goals? Do you want traffic to visit your actual site? Do you want people to learn more about your products by subscribing to your blog? Do you want people to enter a contest or sign up for a newsletter? Do you want to amass a high friend count to show media or increase the validity of your site? Do you want to network with filmmakers, industry pros, newspapers, radio stations and others? Do you want to showcase products and create an online catalog aimed at selling? Figure out your priorities first to save your Internet marketing company the headache.
Whether you do it yourself or hire an Internet marketing company professional, there are many ways to drive traffic to your social networking site. You can post memorable videos or blogs that people will share with others. You can visit other member's sites and post comments or send emails. You can invite your friends and family to your page or request a "friend add" from a complete stranger. (You can find your target markets through keyword searches.)
Social networking is certainly the "buzz" marketing tactic for 2007-2008, so you'll want to at least learn more about it and decide if it's right to add to your Internet marketing company budget.

Internet Marketing in a Recession |
|
It’s a frustrating time for the sales professional and the professional Internet marketing company guru alike. The economy jumped at a pathetic 0.6% snail’s pace last quarter and people aren’t as excited to buy as they used to. Heck, we can barely fill our tanks up to make it to work each week and pay our credit interest rates down these days! However, if you ask a particularly clever Internet marketing company how they’re dealing with the economic slowdown, they’ll likely ask, “What slowdown?”
Now is a great time to focus on process efficiency, says the successful Internet marketing company professional. What techniques are you using for lead generation? Do you know which techniques are proving most efficient? Where is your web traffic coming from? Are your sales reps following up and securing each deal properly, or are customers slipping away? Are you using search engine marketing and targeted pay-per-click ads? Is your website hanging on to traffic or turning people off? Take a moment to redesign your work practices and you may be surprised by the results! Also, accountability is essential, so this might be a good time to scrutinize workers and determine if added training sessions or incentives are needed.
Secondly, many companies panic when they heard the word “recession” and automatically seek to readjust sales figures, cut their Internet marketing company budget or slash marketing / promotions plans. All this penny pinching leaves an opening for the brave company who knows their products and services will “wow” an audience — if it can reach them. The good news is that even on a meager budget, a professional Internet marketing company can use ads, link exchanges, search engine optimization, content management and networking to take your sales to another level. With an Internet marketing company, your advertising dollar will be stretched twice as far and you can get real-time, measurable results through web analytics to reveal what’s working and what’s not working.

Increase Consumer Confidence to Drive Internet Marketing Sales |
|
The Internet has an obvious advantage over traditional stores: it never closes, there are never long lines, you don't have to look for parking, you don't have to stop at the bank first, you can do quick comparison shopping and get added information at the click of a button, you don't have to lug around a hefty package and you can easily put back something you don't want in your shopping cart sans embarrassment. No wonder Internet marketing consultants are in style!
However, to turn your Internet marketing into guaranteed sales, you'll need to establish consumer confidence. Step one is to have a professionally designed website. No one wants to buy from someone who used a cheap template that screams out "Scam." Secondly, warranties are important. Offering a risk-free guarantee and a streamlined return process will put consumers' minds at ease. Thirdly, pack your product descriptions with informative copy. You don't want web users navigating away from your site to have a question answered and consequently never returning again. Testimonials and product reviews have been highly influential in purchasing decisions lately too, so you'll want to include those. Lastly, be sure your site is 100% secure and don't be afraid to advertise the security features you have installed. A straightforward "About Me" page will also let consumers know where you're coming from with your Internet marketing endeavors.

Hotel Internet Marketing |
|
In August 2008, Prophis eResearch asked 433 American travelers about their online hotel Internet marketing browsing this past year. They wanted to know if people were swayed by user-generated blogs, videos and reviews, if they flocked to official website content or if they just meandered around the search engines for a while.
Prophis eResearch found that people still very much valued the experiences of friends, family and coworkers. Word-of-mouth is one of the most coveted areas of hotel Internet marketing. Features like "Forward to a friend" on blogs, e-newsletters and web pages can really help promote the spirit of sharing. People are definitely making good use of the official travel sites from the places they want to go.
In the PhoCus Wright Consumer Travel Trends Survey (2007), 64% of travelers consulted a search engine, which shows the continued importance of search engine optimization within the hotel Internet marketing industry. One of the emerging trends in hotel Internet marketing is the growing influence that personal reviews are having on consumers. The best known site is Trip Advisor, but there are countless others. Even social networking sites like Myspace and Facebook have travel groups.
As consumers look for hotels, flights and destinations, they're looking for a more personalized experience that speaks to their interests, dreams and history. The best hotel Internet marketing will use e-newsletters, ads, copywriting and social networking strategies that provides tailored information, rather than just dry sales copy.

Hiring an Internet Marketing Company to Promote your Videos |
|
With the overwhelming popularity of viral videos these days, the progressive professional Internet marketing company separates itself from the average Internet marketing company by hopping onboard with this new trend and finding ways to capture an audience. Sometimes you have the creativity, the staff and the wherewithal to create a humorous, intriguing or professional video; however, none of this matters if you can’t export that clip to the masses. This is where a professional Internet marketing company is so crucial.
Your job is to develop a brand-identification campaign and targeted messages. The Internet marketing company finds its work navigating message boards, networking in your industry, emailing, statistic checking, researching and doing all those little tedious tasks necessary to take your campaign off the ground. With Google, Youtube, Yahoo, MSN, Brightcove, Current, Mochila, Blinkx, Myspace, Facebook and other video sites: Who has time to do all that uploading, monitoring, sifting through and maintenance? A professional Internet marketing company of course!
Your web traffic and sales can increase ten-fold by partnering with the right Internet marketing company that has your best interests at stake. Viral videos make a big impression and given the right keywords, the right title and the right website placement can reach millions of viewers — thousands just overnight!

E-Commerce, a Valuable Part of Internet Marketing |
|
In print catalogs, you want to promote your sale items prominently, include your phone number on each page, make shipping information easy to find and write out persuasive product descriptions for each item. In Internet marketing, "e-commerce solutions" is the blanket term for all the little details that go into transforming your website from a static page to a virtual marketplace full of ready-to-buy goods or services. There are several points to consider when integrating e-commerce solutions into your Internet marketing campaign.
First, your Internet marketing consultants will advise that you install an extremely accurate search function to help consumers find exactly the product they need within 30 seconds of landing on your homepage. Next, you'll need clear navigation paths, allowing consumers to click on a button to add an item to their virtual shopping cart, then immediately resume shopping just as they would in an actual store. Including informative copy is crucial, but you'll want to make sure consumers have a clear call to action and encouragement to buy NOW. You'll want to have attractive product display, with multiple views, and compelling product descriptions that make visitors feel the warm and fuzzy urge to buy. You'll want to list product availability to consumers know when they can expect their item. Some successful sites also allow consumers the option to track their purchases using an order number as well. Up-selling and cross-selling by offering customers "Other Items You May Like" or "Others Bought These Items" can fill up visitors' shopping carts and bring in added revenue as well. Naturally you'll require website security and purchase options that make buying simple and straightforward.
Once the orders start pouring in, you'll need an automated email messaging system that confirms the purchase and puts consumers at ease, which your Internet marketing consultants can set up for you.

ComScore Releases 2007 U.S. Internet Year in Review |
|
Where should your Internet marketing company spend the bulk of their time? What is the Internet community going crazy over these days? These are the quintessential questions that various Internet studied try to answer. In the 2007 ComScore study, social networking giant Facebook.com proved that Web 2.0 is still big, seeing an 81% increase since December 2006 – with 34.7 million visitors since webmasters decided to make membership registration open to everyone.
